-- awesome! When I was at Northern Illinois University, I was fortunate to study Yih-Wen Kuo and he brought in Ah Leon for a demonstration...Such an amazing craftsman! I want to say he demoed the construction of an yixing teapot as well as his clay wood work.

another amazing Yi Xing teapot maker is Gu Mei Qun (from yi xing). whoa ! she can do amazing things ! AMAZING !

iwish i could get the glaze recipe for the pink. it was a 'trap' glaze, i accidentally dropped it on the ground... only very few test pieces...

That is some pink--quite lickable. It is making me think of titanium oxide without the iron found in rutile.

triangular shaped yunomi on etsy. this yunomi is fired on 3 sea shells w/ hawaiian keawe ash. nicely balanced in the hand, also very functional drinking at each corner, much like drinking out of a water pitcher.

i actually prefer more chunky yunomi due to the functionality. personally, my fingers are very sensitive to heat so i prefer thicker yunomi
