It is more silver than gray with an oil slick appearance. Here is another view -
wish I had taken one of the foot, it's unglazed.
I made matcha for me and dotK, I used this one and let her use my new Hagi
and we sat outside in the sun enjoying the matcha in my garden. It was lovely.

Thanks all! The tea tray came from a local store, Ten Li Tea in Fountain Valley, and it was only one they had. Although I did see a similar one in LA at Wing Hop Fung a bit bigger and darker. I didn't check the price as I didn't want to get upset, ha!
Geek you need to come down for a visit!!!
