Also this sweet little purple bowl, not born a matcha bowl,
but now serves that purpose:

Nice yixing pot, Victoria! I think I have its stouter cousin. And that purple bowl is an absolutely stunning color!!
So... if it wasn't obvious from the pu-erh section, I got a nifty little monkey sculpture with my last order from DTH. Apparently he's made from yixing clay, so he counts as a teaware accessory, right?
Everything is better with monkeys!
Definitely my best purchase, I think. hehe

They're in a "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" stance.
Meanwhile, I really like that red cup in the middle picture. What sort of clay/technique is that? (okay, and the use of blue circles in the last picture is nifty, too).
And olivierco... I'm lovin' the copper chatakus!

Not sure of the clay, but it's Western Raku by an artist on Etsy (as are its sibling pieces). It was made on a wheel, so I'd consider it even less Raku than typical Western iterations of the style, but I dig it (and the price was right).
Edit: oops, wrong picture.

Do you have a picture of the inside and the foot of this chawan?

It seems quite "whiskable".
Congratulations!

I might keep only three of them which could mean that two are available for a chataku/teaware swap. I haven't made up my mind yet. I will keep you posted.

That chawan is the work of Pagace Pagasari, real name Frederic Pagace, he learned the art of raku making in korea, he has truly unique work, I have seen a few of his work at a fellow tea lovers site from hungary.
