Vic, oh no! Of course I had no idea. My apologies.
The one in the previous pictures is the one I bought in May.
The one I just purchased, I just bought last night - so we'll see when it arrives.
On ebay it says: "3.207640001"h x 5.00876"w//// (approx)"; it looks taller than wide to me too, so that's why I contacted him. He answered: "this bowl is 3.6"h x 4.2"w not too big not too small...". So, I hope it's not narrower than that. If it is, I'll probably send it back and ask for refund as it wouldn't be as advertised. I really hope that doesn't happen.
Here's the new one's ebay pic:

Peace.

Yep that was the one. <sigh> I had just written him about the size, I asked him to recheck and he sent me this: "the height is 3.6" x 4"wide nice hollow, the rare red!"
Still it looks taller than wide. So we'll see when you get it.
Congrats, it looks really beautiful! They should be a nice set.

I am deeply concerned about the 3 different measurements.
1 on site, one in response to me, and one in response to you.
Hmmm.

Well it's only .4" off from mine, so not to worry. But I still think it is
taller than wide, unless he's not counting the foot? Still it looks
beautiful. He told me there is more red coming the end of next week.
So I'll stay tuned.

“Take some more tea,” the March Hare said to Alice, very earnestly.
“I’ve had nothing yet,” Alice replied in an offended tone: “so I ca’n’t take more.”
“You mean you ca’n’t take less,” said the Hatter: “it’s very easy to take more than nothing.”
