No, the bowl was not from the SO. It just traveled together with one of the SO items.

thank you all for sharing your pictures as well as your experiences with those pieces. Those experiences are more then welcome feedbacks for me.

I hope you will find another "reason to be" for this chawan. It was my favorite from the kilndebunix wrote:Because I haven't yet made peace with matcha, the chawan will find other ways to show off its beauty for now.

For now, it is on display in the dining room, so gorgeous. And I'll be trying matcha again with my next trip to Japan, that might be as soon as next year.....
