Hey ho! Here it is mid July already and I am such a slow poke. Here are a couple images of my latest hedge apple tea pots just out of the kiln.

Thanks Geek! Both teapots hold 350 ml and pour water just fine.

Ah Chip aka ! I have been attempting a green but it has been turning reddish in the heavy reduction. Ack! so I have a "cunning plan". I will glaze a couple in my next batch with an oribe. It stays green in reduction. Of course at the speed these critters make it through the process I figure the next group will be on parade this Sept.

Thanks Victoria, for dropping by! That dark blue tea pot with the black handles is porcelain. I accomplish the blue by spraying a black over a clear so this one got a little more black on it.

Thanks R! firing in O2 would be the most direct route.

Chip--copper goes green in oxidation and red in reduction. (at least in the glaze base I've been using)

Fire your oribe in O2.........

I second the thought on the oribe. (One of the nice things about my noborigama..... different chambers can be fired different atmospheres and cones.)
