Here is an awesome new Chawan I got from Petr Novak. I love its glaze and the feel of it. I was late to work because, upon opening the package, I just had to try it out. Another stunning piece. Thank you Petr!

Hello Everybody,
I haven't been here for a while and I am really surprised- so many nice posts. Thank you all- especially to all who have taken pics and posted them here.
We are still working more on new place then with clay but we already have there small place for throwing and finishing pots. Early morning is my time for work and drink first tea of day there. So today it was TaJi Xiaguan TouCha 2004 and fresh "tree bark" cups.
cups.

Thank you CHip-I was also surprised when I was unloaded kiln and saw this pot. The glaze is my simple white shino but it is only piece with this kind of texture and "grey monk" color inside. I like it.Chip wrote:Ahhh, there is the inside. I asked to see it in the MatChawan topic.

I was not a friend of Yxing pots before I got this small one from one Korean tea-lady like a present. Now it helps me to enjoy ShengPuers- it means everyday in use:)Mrs. Chip wrote:OOOOHHH! Wayyyyyyyyy Kool.

Re: Petr Novák - Pots under influence of tea
Here is another fabulous Chawan by Petr. It is awesome! My photos don't come close to showing the texture of the glaze. It is very chick and seems to be peeling off from the Chawan, but it is not. Thank you so much Petr! I've used it many times and it is a joy to use.
