Thought I would post pics of the new silver set I acquired. The pic I took to show another forum member (twistedinside) the victorian style room in my house.

Gorgeous (to fencer and tenuki)! *Sigh* This is my view:
[Edit: *Technically* this first one does have teaware in it, so it's not *technically* breaking the rules. See the corner of the tea tray?

Fencer, your room is so fantastic. It must be wonderful to spend time there.
Scruff, my mother used to always say, "Bloom where you are planted" (a phrase which still sets my teeth on edge).
Chip, how is it that you always know everything? Are you running surveillance on all of us?

That's why Fencer has it and you don't.

Boo. Poor use of resources. This is what makes humans so evil.

Fencer - My kind of room (in my dreams, anyway), blue & Victorian.
Scruff - Dorm rooms, we've all been there! (this too shall pass)
Someday I'll buy a digital camera - I'm the only person I know who doesn't have one - and post pix of my wares and view of Pikes Peak (my favorite tea-sipping spot is on the patio, looking at the Peak).
Until then, I'll continue enjoying all your pix.

Tenuki, looks wonderful!
Scruff, could be worse right? Careful with that daisy-chain looking outlet in your dorm, running 9 UtiliTEA's at once might be a hazard

Just some of the more notorious TeaChatters. For instancel, I did see you scope out that much younger woman when you were riding your bike yesterday. You should be more careful and keep your eyes on the road.

Just one kettle, that lamp, and the surge protector to all my computer related stuff. The real hazard was when I only had space for the kettle right next to the outlet, and the spout pointed right at it.

Easy to "bloom . . . " when you have digs like Fencer's! Whoa! And that tea service is definately worth the time it takes to go over it with a polishing cloth! If you ever get tired of it . . .
Tenuki your view is awesome! You can't even see another dwelling in the picture! Awesome tea bar, I am green w/envy.
