It's clearly meant to be used, it has a nearly perfect "ball" filter in the spout, you can pour this pot nearly bone dry. It is well balanced for having such a short little handle, and it doesn't leak a drop. I think it will be fine if I pre-heat carefully. Otherwise, it is a lovely display piece and I got a very good deal on it, so no harm no foul.Chip wrote:
