That is tooo bad!!! Geek, did you buy this new? Is it possible it was made for display purposes only?
It's clearly meant to be used, it has a nearly perfect "ball" filter in the spout, you can pour this pot nearly bone dry. It is well balanced for having such a short little handle, and it doesn't leak a drop. I think it will be fine if I pre-heat carefully. Otherwise, it is a lovely display piece and I got a very good deal on it, so no harm no foul.

Your knobless pot is kind of awesome.

There is a vent, it just didn't show in the shot.

That pot does have a simple yet elegant beauty to it. The more I see it the more I love it and appreciate it's lines and curves. What do you plan to brew in it?

What a beautiful cup! Love all the texture- so much more than mine. More cinnamon-y icing-y than mine. DH still asks if he can see mine leaking or oozing-

New 20ml sipping cup. I didn't order this design, but it's growing on me and it was very cheap so who cares, right? It's a lot stubbier than in the picture, too. Same as any other normal 20ml cup.

Oh I think it's sweet! And I like it when there is red,
adds a little distinction.
Congrats!
