Indeed Austin is currently sunny, but I bet it currently beats Chicago? in its windiness. There have been 30 mph sustained winds here on Sunday. Its was also freezing at night a few days ago.

UPZ!

Was wondering if more folks got to taste the Dehong sample that was included earlier. Would appreciate if you can share your view and if you happened to have the 08 Dehong, how it compares with that.

I am also curious to hear.

Fatman, could you tell us more about this tea, like what factory made it and what the full name is? What is the 08 one? I have tasted 3 or 4 teas from Dehong (including the YSLLC production) and am interested in getting more info.

Hi Sal,

Sadly, I too have no info. I started getting interested in the 05 Dehong that YS sold and loved the taste. It was addictive even. When the 08 version came out, I too bought some. When I shared the 05 with my tea merchant friend here, he went over to Guangzhou and found an older batch that was supposedly 03 They estimated based on observation comparing the 03 with the 05. All three versions come in the same bamboo wrap.

As for the factory, I guess Scott will be the only person who can tell us more.

As the order has been screwed-up, I'm not sure who to send it to. Do I send it to Tom or Devites?
