No, she got better, no problems with her legs anymore

That is excellent!

PS, I don't mean to laugh at poor Fuji's misfortune, but his face makes me laugh, I can't help it!

So...how does it drink?

cats usually don´t need to drink if they eat wet food...they´ll hardly touch their water.

Oh my gosh, I love all of these pictures! TwoPynts, your cat looks so much like my cat Indie (who is in Heaven now with my poodle.) We have a miniature schnauzer Peppi, who is much chubbier than he was when this picture was taken lol, and he is very spoiled! BTW, we also have a Russian Tortoise, but she's not as lovable as Peppi.

Sounds about right.
Adding to his charm, he eats like a steam shovel using his lower jaw to scoop. When he is done, he looks like he was in a cat food eating contest and won. You gotta laugh ...

More guinea pigs, they're like Big Brother for cats:

I think you're spoiling Jake, He looks like a fat cat.
Mine well never be that lucky, I'm spending $10. a week on cat food now.
Thats not counting bird seed, Humming bird nectar and squirrel corn.
And I'm not counting the raccoon that cleans up the cat food bowls every night.

I love seeing the pics of everyones pets! This is a great thread.
I have an orange tabby named Jake as well. He came to us about 3 years ago. We thought he was one of the neighbors cats, then found out he was homeless. He fit in with us right away!
Here he is snoozing with our dog Kiera - great that they get along so well!

Yeah I suppose that is true, I do remember hearing that wild cats only need red meat and can live without any additional water. Guess it works for not so wild cats too.

They´re desert animals originally...they have extremely efficient kidneys

We've got another three rather slim cats. Jake's special. He came as a rescue cat, as all our animals, and was seriously over weight when we got him. He's lost a little, not a lot. We've spoken to at least 4 different people around the area who have been feeding him - he's a charmer.

I think I'm one of the "other people". When I feed my cats in the morning
I don't recognize half of them. But they all seem to know me.
