Thanks Victoria. I already really like it after only using it once. The red mixed with the different shades of blue is very attractive. It looks especially good when holding dancong.Victoria wrote:Oh I think it's sweet! And I like it when there is red,

Congrats!

Very nice Deishi cups, Victoria! Enjoy.
I have decided to start a semi official Hagi topic to discuss all things ... Hagi.

This is so adorable! And so much better than YSLLC's own photo. I never noticed the nice engraved pattern on their photo!Victoria wrote:Another new yixing![]()
I really like the look of this pot with no knob.

I was only just thinking how much I'd love to abscond with one of those lovely little cups... it'd hardly be missed, would it?Pentox wrote:of 4?GeekgirlUnveiled wrote: wowie zowie, a box of 4, I love it! That particular hagi teacup design is my favorite.
Perhaps Geekgirl was picking up my transmission

Yeah, I have been wanting a flared cup for awhile now and a yunomi style to
replace my broken work one. It was a very good teaware day indeed!
Thanks everyone!

I know! I just saw it was a design and didn't really know what I was getting. It turned out to be my favorite Chinese symbol! I'm a lucky girl!gingko wrote: This is so adorable! And so much better than YSLLC's own photo. I never noticed the nice engraved pattern on their photo!

I agree, some sake cups make fantastic tea cups.
Here's a hagi sake cup that I bought three years ago. Actually, compared to most guinomi, it's rather massive: holds up to 125 ml of liquid. As a tea cup, however, it's the perfect size for decanting my gaiwan!

Hmm... maybe should have posted this to the hagi thread? Tempted-- to-- double-post--
