This is my baby
I have had her for a while now, don't know why I've taken so long to show her off

Your "Shiggy" kyusu looks strangely familiar? Are you the original owner or is it ... previously loved?

Thought so, and is that long time relative to his normal length of ownership?JeiKun4114 wrote:Chip wrote:Your "Shiggy" kyusu looks strangely familiar? Are you the original owner or is it ... previously loved?![]()
LOL.....this Shiggy was well loved by Ambrose for quite some time
I am shocked, this was his custom made one? He changes his mind more than most women!
Re: Ode to the Kyusu
hehe Im a mad tea scientist ! Im worse than a woman BTW with that! I buy I try I sell! Sometimes try again! No no the custom one never happened
  Mr Tachi is too stubborn
I just wanted a shiboridashi. This particular kyusu is one from Hojos personal stash he was keeping for himself but was kind enough to let me take it in for study. It was an unlisted piece

This is mine, the only kyusu I own. Made by Watanabe Tozo, I love this teapot.

				Re: Ode to the Kyusu
Thought I'd post a photo of my little "workhorse" kikumaru. Not only does it brew me up some good tea, but I've been using it as a practice subject for strobe lighting.

(for those who care: 1/200, f7.1, ISO400, Alienbees B800 strobe @1/2 from 18", double blue gel, gold reflector on opposite side.)
