Fencer, there are pictures of my Koryo (Korean infuser) from Red Blossom here: http://wikicha.com/index.php/Koryo

I find this to be a pretty good thing for travling -- the infuser holes are rather large which is desirable for oolong or puerh percolation. For smaller leaves I swap it for a ROT mesh basket, which fits pretty well also.

The cup can stay rather hot when brewing at higher temperatures. I am a baby when it comes to drinking boiling liquids. The cup is 6 oz, which makes for a nice wrong fu cha, as opposed to rishi's much larger cup. I also find the RB koryo to be much more attractive. Bottom line is, I rarely use this at home when other teaware is on hand, but it is serving the purpose elsewhere.

I actually own one of those. I enjoy it but I found it was a tad small for home-use. Well I enjoyed it until the top flung off it and broke. :(

I love my ROT infuser basket. It's the best thing ROT makes! Mine is >1yr old and I can't believe it's held together so well. Fits perfectly in most small cups -- someone knew what they were doing when they made it.

Looks great, Hop. A world unto itself with the heated kettle right there. Seems like a quiet refuge where you can retreat periodically to recharge the spiritual batteries.

I see you use those wide cups that I'm always afraid to use because I worry I'll slosh tea in every direction.

What is that thing under the teapot? and where can I get one!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful tea corner.

Is the thing under the pot just a teapot warmer? i.e. It probably has some sort of candle in it to light so that the tea in the pot on top stays warm. Or is it just a sort of presentation pedestal?

Actually, it is an alcohol lamp that has the capability of actually boiling the water. You use denatured alcohol as fuel!
