I will spend up to 150$ on this auction I guess. I have never found any Kyoyaki chaire of this kind.

Does anyone have links to Kyoyaki chaire?

Wow, nice ume blossoms. Are there any photos of the foot?

No, I've never seen Kyoyaki chaire before. That doesn't mean they don't exist, of course; I've barely dipped my toe into the world of chaire. But the chaire sold for general purposes are usually Setoyaki. This one has a very festive feeling - I wonder if it might be used for New Year?

If you Google on 京焼 茶入 茶道 (Kyoyaki, chaire, chadou) you may be able to find other examples.

Thank you!

In the meantime, I found the auction itself. (Don't worry, I won't bid  ) Good luck, I hope you win this beauty.

When I have a chance, I'll have to ask my teacher about Kyoyaki chaire. If she has anything to say, I'll let you know.

Here's a nice little yunomi I'd love to own. Looks like it was carved out of labradorite!

Very nice. I 'd like to see a picture without this deep blue background.

I am glad that I haven't caught yunomi fever. :D

Have you seen this one? It's in a similar vein (vane? vain? lol), and a buy-now option at $59.50 plus shipping.

Vein is right. Vane is a device for telling wind direction. Vain is self sightedness. Veins are versatile. They can carry blood, or they can be a traffic conduit. sometimes veins are hypothetical.

Fascinating vein of thought ET.

And ya, I saw it, but not to my taste. Too symetrical.
