I think I may be ready to participate in this the next time around. But, my tea collection won't be up to contributing alot (since i've just started it!).
It's not mandatory that you add to the box.

With 5 locales left to go.

If all the "oolong" looks very green and Japanese,
you will know why the delay. That was a lot to
repackage.

Heh, the box looked like it was run over by the mail truck, the original box finally said enough is enough. Some broken teaware as well. So a new box!

All bags had oolong, no Japanese greens in there...

***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

The big box arrived in Philadelphia today. I took out a few samples, added a few things and packed it back up. I hope to get it out in the next day or two...but I don't have the shipping address for the next person. Auggie, I think it's you...can you please PM me your address.

A lot of nice little samples in there. A bit heavy on the TGY, Wuyi and flavored teas at this point. Also a surprising amount of what looks to me like black tea in bags with labels like "Formosa Oolong." Also some more interesting things...There was a nice Li Shan which was only about 1-2 grams but I got a nice taste of it. Mmm. I've really become a formosa Oolong guy for the most part, although I enjoy Dancong and the occasional Wuyi as well. Light-to-mid roasted Taiwanese stuff is my daily brew these days.

Anyway, Auggie, PM me and I'll get the box off to you pronto.

I'm curious where the box is at now? Any of the more recent people have any impressions to share?

That would be Bai Hao. Calling it simply "Formosa Oolong" is apparently a leftover from past eras. These were apparently developed with the British "back in the day." So you could almost say it's an oolong for black (red) tea drinkers, by black tea drinkers.

Augie should have the box now, but has not checked in yet!

The enthusium seems to have waned, and I am wonding if it is because
the contents are picked over and/or getting stale.
