Seeker, I was checking out several of those, they are quite beautiful. Enjoy.
I was really liking the Summer Shino and the real drippy one.

Seeker,
So when do you want us to come over? We'll gladly help you check out how well your new bowls (5 of them!!!!) function since you're "on the bench"
Nice selection! May they always bring joy to your tea drinking!

Re: Share a photograph of your favorite matcha chawan (teabowl)
All of your comments are so awesome! Each and every one of you.
Let's see, should receive them next week (Michael thinks his post offc won't get them out until Monday), so how's next Saturday for a Tea Party?
Perhaps we could meet in the tea cave, if Chip's willing of course (I've been wanting to see what a tea cave looks, smells, feels like
).
I can hardly wait to receive them.
It'll be hard to 'stay on the bench'
.

What is a tea cave??? Sounds awesome.
Anyways, here are some pictures of my pine tree akaraku chawan. It is my favorite bowl to drink matcha with.

cool image! i can see two beings holding hands and looking at eachother with their arms spread wide. i imagine it's the tea drinker's spirit and the spirit of the tea sharing an intimate moment.Seeker wrote: 1st:

So I realize I have to make pictures a little bit smaller. Here's another chawan of mine from local santa cruz potter Joel Magen. Enjoying a bowl of matcha out of right now.
