Cory,
Thanks, on the Shino show. BTW, CONGRAT's to you as well. The list of exhibitors is very extensive and IMO fairly complete.
Thanks again Cory,
Michael

Looking through images today and came across this shino and slip chawan from some time ago...long lost fav of mine. Maybe I'll post this in the loud or quiet for comments.
Thanks,

GREENWOODSTUDIO and kymidwife,
Thanks for the comments regarding the Shino and Alberta Slip Chawan...a long gone favorite of mine. Glad I still have a pic of it.

I've been a bit out of the loop here lately. I thought I would post a few images of a Chawan that came out of this weeks firing. This shino glazed piece has been fired 4 times. Each time I reglazed it with a different shino. The resulting glaze finish is really complex and ever-changing. I'm really happy with this piece. The photos don't portray the complexities.
Thanks, as always, for view my work,
Michael

Hello,
Am I the only one that thinks this year is already going too fast? Month #1 almost gone!
Fired the small kiln yesterday, I thought posting a few pieces might be in order.
Thanks,
Michael

I particularly like the one on the right - the color is just wonderful - but I'll refer you back to Victoria:

Seeker and Dreamer,
Thanks for your comments, and yes these fit nicely in the hand.
Thought I would show a more "rustic" set of yunomi.
More snow coming this afternoon and well into tomorrow. We just dug out from over 3 feet from the last storm...but it is beautiful.
Thanks,
Michael
