2002 Youle - long brew from the afternoon. Intense! Sweet vanilla...

2009 xi zhi hao Golden Brick Yi Wu LBZ. This has to be an autumn tea. Powerful qi good mouthfeel. The flavor on this tea is hit or miss. But can be spectacular. When you happen get enough LBZ in the pot. But usually is just decent.

Also 03 Yi wu Brick from Taiwan decent as always. I need a few more of these my first brick is almost gone.

1980s Sheng Tou Cha. I usually brew this tea with very high temperature and more tea to push the sweetness and fruity flavor out. But today, I dug a finger size serving and dump it into a 500ml 70s Yixing teapot and brew it thin. Turned out be as nice and enjoyable.

Another session of little leaves and big pot thin brewing style of 2002 Yiwu. Lately I got into this habit of brewing thin at the end of the day. Just let sit and emerge and browse the forum and net in the silence of the night. In the morning and afternoon, I am more gongfu on tea brewing.

So, a thinly brewed Yiwu 2002, free from any brewing formalities, still surprising full of flavor and aroma and encompassed the silence of the night...in a nice way...hmmm...really enjoy that zen like feeling.

Xigui. OMG. Buzzing 8 hours after drinking it!

A wonderful afternoon today with kyarazen and the teapot auction houses consultants at my place...hopefully our new teacher, sifu. This guy is a consultant in many teapot auction houses and has been a player for ancient and grandmasters teapot collection since 70s. For the first time we manage to touch a 200years pots together with other grandmaster pots brought by him.

Nevertheless, we had some good Puer, 2005 DXS, 2002DXS,2001Yiwu...and a long lesson on ancient and grandmasters teapots! Really drooling, is it the tea or the pots?

My humble apology for OT,....too happy and overwhelmed and wanted to share this great experience.

2013 Lao Man E from Teaurchin. A massive tea loaded with power. Should be a terrific cake for storage and good to drink now for those who can't wait. Dozens of brews.

2013 Youle and 2007 Youle and 2003 Youle...yes Youle day
I prefer Youle when it was younger due to its high aroma. When they aged, the intense high aroma is gone but still more fragrant than other tea of similar age. It is good to follow through the aging process to enjoy the changes in the tea. I usually do a serious tasting every 3 months for every Puer to appreciate and understand how they change.

Luxurious and full bodied, penetratingly bitter but well balanced with sweetness. I haven't had many teas that claim to be Bingdao so I'm glad I've got this one as a benchmark.

EDIT: Got the year wrong, it should be 2013 not 2014.
