There is always room in the fridge for a 50g package (I ordered the new organic gyokuro as well)
Now organic gyokuro is really difficult to produce since gyokuro is heavily fertilized, so I am curious about this new offering as well.

I don't expect too much from it but I was curious for the same reason.

Yeah, saw that. Their one is 60 USD per 100 grams. Looks really good. But some are around 20.

I had a few of theirs previously and was pleased. None of those are offered currently. They are getting their new Japanese teas to market MUCH faster these days. This was a big complaint in the past, perhaps they are listening :?:

I finally got to order some shincha the other day and it should be here any day now! I got the Sae Midori from o-cha. I'll be sure to let you know what I think when I get it. This will be my first shincha experience, sort of... I started drinking japanese greens about a year ago and my second order was the chiran sencha, which was apparently in shincha season. I got a flyer with my tea which had some parameters for brewing. It said "shincha" which at the time I thought was a typo :) So, this will be my first go while actually knowing what is going on.

I decided I needed to reorder the Sae Midori before
it was gone.

Hello everybody,

I am new to the forum and to the art of tea :) . I tried matcha the other day and didn't really like the taste. But since the health benefits are so attractive I am looking to buy some matcha powder to mix and create smoothies, lattes and other beverages.

Which online site do you guys recommend? From what ive read, is it probably best for me to buy the lowest grade matcha there is (suitable for my intended purpose) :?:

Do I need a sifter or a whist? whats the difference?

p.s. the sites ive been eyeing are matchasource (cafe grade), yuuki-cha (is organic suitable for my intended purpose??..would the "konjo" grade suffice?) and Hibiki (house matcha).
