Here are some more pictures. Is it from the 70s?
Re: Official/Different Yixing Show Off Topic!
This funny teapot looks like a piggy, but I think it is supposed to be an ox or a buffalo.
I don't know what kind of clay, thin walls, rather glossy, size is 90 ml. It was made before the year 2000, but I have no idea of the exact age.

Re: Official/Different Yixing Show Off Topic!
The base is warped and it has a strange second seal on it.
Re: Official/Different Yixing Show Off Topic!
Teapot no. 3 has an interesting seal. Again I have no idea about its age, but definitively before 2000. Holding capacity is 120 ml, single hole spout, clay zhini?
Re: Official/Different Yixing Show Off Topic!
A little bamboo teapot, 100 ml. Is this clay muo lu ni? Again I don't know, when was it made?
Re: Official/Different Yixing Show Off Topic!
Another two pictures of the bamboo teapot. I am looking forward to your comments!
Re: Official/Different Yixing Show Off Topic!
this one looks okay, just 6:4 ratio ZGYX is not often used on none-Shuiping teapots
just mere 2 pictures can't really say a thing
Re: Official/Different Yixing Show Off Topic!
There are more pictures of this teapot on the page before (page 188), chrl42!
I had to split them, because more than 3 photographs in one posting are not possible.

Re: Official/Different Yixing Show Off Topic!
Thank you, chrl42, I'm happy you like it!
I guess Xiao Han Jun is the name of this model or form?
Is the clay Qing Shui Ni? And is it possible to decipher the writing?
Another question concerning the second teapot I posted (the one with the face): Could this be made from zhuni clay? Also I wonder when this was made?
Re: Official/Different Yixing Show Off Topic!
Xiao Han Jun (小汉君) is a name of that shape, yes Qing Shui Ni..no can't interpret the writing, just the potter, Fan Feng Mei though.raoula wrote:Thank you, chrl42, I'm happy you like it!

second pot seems mixed Zhuni, the quality not matchable though, with the first one.

I didn't know there was mixed zhuni.
Do you have an opinion on the other two?

Mediocre in terms of the clay or the craftmanship or both? Any opinion about the strange seal on the pot with the lion? Maybe it is not Yixing?chrl42 wrote:quite mediocre potsraoula wrote:Fan Feng Mei is the name of the potter indicated by the seal inside the lid?
