This is my new YiXing pot, I'm tasting my latest roasting experiment before sending it off in the oolong box.

I was down at the international district this weekend and saw this pot back on the office desk behind a screen at a teashop I frequent. I've seen it the last few times I've been down to that shop and it is always being used by the proprietor. So I asked if I could look at it, then if it was for sale.

  Woot!
ps. glass sharing pitcher is from Diaso - $1.50, yes, I know...
pss. tasting/fragrance cups from FLT - $6.50 a couple of years ago, yes, I know...

The turtle's shell is separate and encloses the body, and the head is separate too like a bobble doll. heh. It's much cuter in person.
YSLLC - unfortunately it looks like he sold out.

That elephant wasn't there when I got the turtle. I would email him and see.

I really tried to bond with that elephant a couple months ago, but an elephant on a tea tray just sounds too much like a bull in a china shop. There is no way I could. Geekgirl, are you emailing Scott or am I? Actually, if there is enough interest, maybe I could order a bunch (if Scott can still get them) and be the US distributor!

Dunno if I want a turtle OR an elephant, but I sure could go for a goldfish (yay!), or a squirrel, or a really cute naughty puppy, (to match my naughty dachsie who steals my tea!)
I can't email Scott (? is he the YSLLC guy?) because I had to make a new ebay acct and have no current history. (LOOONG story. bleh.)

That's funny, me too. I liked it a lot, but I just couldn't commit. I have been using a tea cannister as a decorative piece for now. I also have foo dogs so I guess I don't *need* one <--- tries to convince self!

<------ has a foo dog "thing." I'll have to post some pics one of these days.

  I'd love to see yours.
