Cute pot! It's very hard to make pots that small. You'll have to make a how-to vid. Like the underglaze, too.tomd wrote:Heres my latest. Made it myself. The main body was done on a potters wheel. Nice and thick walls hold heat in well for pu erh. 100 mL
In that vein, these are pieces I pulled out of the kiln the other day:

Here are a few of my latest acquisitions. The first teabowl, sadly, arrived broken into 2 nearly halves, and several smaller pieces. The shipper somehow thought that one thin sheet of rice paper would be adequate wrapping to travel half-way around the globe.
Shame too, since it had a matching tied box and everything.

It was a really nice looking chawan.GeekgirlUnveiled wrote:Here are a few of my latest acquisitions. The first teabowl, sadly, arrived broken into 2 nearly halves, and several smaller pieces. Very nice gaiwan, Danibob. What is the approximate capacity? You are going to have a lot of fun with it!danibob wrote: I wanted to share my very first and brand new gaiwan that came today!
Geekgirl -- nice chawans. How many do you have now? Like 20? How many do you plan on owning when all is said and done?
