I had this tea for breakfast. Very tasty, satisfying tea.Peacock wrote:2011 mid-fire lishan from origintea. It tastes quite like houjicha, expect with a more powerful fruity aroma that houjicha lacks. Its a great tea to to unwind with in the late evening.

Thermos full of Kungfu TGY from Aroma Teahouse (Vancouver) as I do some homework in a practice room. This stuff is pretty good, especially for $6 per 100g.

2013 Premium Oriental Beauty from Dragon Tea House. Muscatel, wood and some floral notes. Given the reasonable price I am quite happy with it.

Morning tea: Song Zhong Fenghuang oolong from Norbu,

a lovely floral Dan Cong, yielding delicous, delicate, gently floral infusion after infusion

enjoyed from a porcelain celadon cup by Shawn McGuire--it's not been possible yet to capture the delicate translucency of this one, how light glows through the sides and bottom as I drink, brewed up in a Petr Novak treebark pot, and this morning's session graced by Clarkia from the garden,

truly elegant in a vase by Shawn.

It's been a lovely morning.

Went for a local "Bak Kut Teh" lunch, a traditional pork rib soup stall with chaozhou tea brewing facilities. It is part of tea culture where most people dine and brew tea at the same time.
Had a Shui Xian Wang and another brew of Chocolate tea(http://teaism99.com/2014/03/14/chocolate/ ) brewed in traditional chazhou style. Thick, potent with lingering sweetness. A good kick start for the day.
Cheers!

Bai Hao - July 2013, Hsinchu County. Commercial grade.
I love this tea. I would be able to drink it every day, for the next 50 years.

A wonderful Dancong, multiple subtle baking with very nice and balance baking aroma with lingering sweetness and full bodied. A nice tea friend shared half kilo with me at reasonable price.
Today is a really tea buying day, half kilo of very high grade Dong Ding for aging and some Gykoru and Japanese green tea. The Dancong sweetness still lingering in my taste bud after a few hours. A fulfilling tea day.
Cheers!
