I'm at that 70/30 mark too.

best,

Heh, are we conservative? Or just running out of options? :D

I think I might finally be running into the latter...

I should probably break down and buy this instead of
working off samples, huh? Ayeeee.
Ooh, are these good? I bought these on a whim and I just got them yesterday along with some other stuff (though sadly not the 2009 sampler, grumble).
I like them, plus it's kind of fun to brew them in a glass pot so you can see them open up.

I am pretty liberal compared to the 10:90 voter.

I actually force myself to constantly explore as it is easy for me to fall into a rut ... personality type.

Maeda-en Kukicha w/ matcha in my cup ... a new vendor for me this Summer past.

I've got the guys I trust, but I'm willing to give some new places a shot.
Lately I've been mostly using Dragon Tea House and Yunnan Sourcing both via eBay.

I feel like I really haven't ventured out recently so I have to say 100% comfort zone. I have what I like and keep reordering or picking up when I run out or I am low. I will look at new places when I am in the mood to try something new.

I am relatively new to tea and very unintrepid about where I buy from. I've found a couple of oolong vendors that I like and buy from them. But I imagine that as my tastes develop I will grow tired of buying from only a couple of vendors and explore more.

My sentiments exactly.

I voted 50/50 because I don't have a lot of prior history here. I buy from vendors that I've tried before, and I also make first time purchases blindly. I guess it will take time to develop my likes and dislike of not only teas, but of vendors too.

My brain won't come up with an answer...
They're all new, but if I find something I like I will go back...

This morning found Black Spiral in my cup again. Lovely sunny fall day here so the 2nd and 3rd steeps went into the fridge for iced tea at dinner. Right now some lovely calming Tulsi tea.

Got my new Hagi cup too late for sencha, but that will be on the tea menu sometime tomorrow afternoon!

Enjoy,
Dreamer
