Today, drank some lovely fall Alishon Oolong from a plastic topped stainless 'car cup'; some Anji white tea from a porcelain cup; and traditional roast Ti Kuan Yin from a porcelain cup.

Another two days before I can drink from my yunomis again.

Porcelain wins this one in a photo finish. Clay is a close second because I drink all my green tea from hagi cups but I use small porcelain cups for oolong/pu and a large porcelain yunomi for herbal or anything else.

Im drinking fresh Chamomile tonight(in a large porcelain yunomi)

I really like reading the posts by experienced potters having taken several pottery classes :)

I did try greenglazing once, on a vase I built out of coils...the glaze went on okay....but I never got to see how it turned out. In the class there wasn´t a lot of student involvement in the firing process...after it was fired it seemed to have disappeared  I don´t know it it fell apart in the kiln and was discarded, I just didn´t recognize it after firing or if someone took it :?

I´d really like to get back into it in a less structured environment and learn more about clay and glaze types and firing especially...I need like a ceramics mentor or something.
