I was watching the movie Shaolin and found this gaiwan. Not sure if it is Andy Lau's affection or not but I found the gaiwan he's holding is so....sexy.
Anyone know where I can find one like this ? Thanks a million.

Tea Habitat has recently posted some very nice looking gaiwans--I can't vouch for them as I haven't seen them in person, but they look pretty nice. This one is a very
plain green glazed version and there are several
celadon versions that are not quite so plain, having some carved/engraved decorations. I find the celadons to be quite tempting.

Wow I love that plain green glazed version by Tea Habitat! Looks really refined.
Anyway been eyeing this set for quite awhile but oh well, not enough disposable income

Yeah, those porcelain gyokuro sets can really get expensive. The weak dollar to the yen has really upped the price of premium higher end Japanese wares!

I like all of those pots from artistic Nippon too. The shiny beaten cast iron look of the 2nd one is particularly attractive, and I'm always a sucker for a flat, saucer shaped pot. But....I can only fit so many pots into the cupboard....
