Thank you kindly.
T minus 36 hours til departure for Vegas. Then another 28 hours til I am on.
I keep trying to convince myself that I am not nervous. At least I am not scared to death ... yet!

The folks at WTE and World Tea Media will release videos later.
Hopefully they will give me photos to release, all photos on site must be taken by the WTE designated photographer(s). So, not even attendees can go around taking photos this year.
While I may personally feel this is going too far, that is the way it is for this year anyway.

Re: The Announcement!
I have seen this kind of rule at many venues. I find it to be quite perplexing. With cameras becoming ubiquitous, not to mention smaller in size, lower in price, higher in quality, and so on, nowadays such cameras can be found on nearly every device. Because of this, enforcing such a rule has to be prohibitively expensive. And what's the danger of some participants taking photographs or a short video clip anyway? Cameras aren't firearms; there's no threat of violence, nor is anybody particularly worried about an irresponsible camera operator. The event organizers in any case will still publish official pictures or video; nobody's threatening to displace the hired photographers and cinematographers. I just don't understand what anybody has to gain from such a rule.Chip wrote:Hopefully they will give me photos to release, all photos on site must be taken by the WTE designated photographer(s). Re: The Announcement!
Hi TeaFriends. Had a great day at the WTE. Hooked up with lots of old and new friends. It was funny meeting exhibitors who read TC, and "knew me" already.
Today was focused on Japanese teas ... enmasse!!!
Tomorrow is my "thing" and by mid afternoon I will change focus to other teas.

Re: The Announcement!
Tea stocks have increased tremendously. The best part was meeting so many people in the tea biz. And many have been on our forum!
Look for some interesting OTTIs and special offers!
Thanks drax. I think my conference went very well. Much more to come. Droid battery just went into the red zone.
