What is Bai ni? Is it a Yixing clay or is it mined in another area? There are relatively few Yixing pots made of this clay. I wonder why?
From what I know, Baini is a clay composed of mainly kaolinite.

Baini has a few (or several) mines, my friend told me the best Baini comes from Mt.Huanglong...as for it linking to Qing dynasty Baini...I've no idea :roll:
