Hello all! I've been due for an update...and price drop on these pots.

I recently received sad news of a passing in Chip's family. I've decided to put 100% of the proceeds of the remaining pots, less shipping costs, towards helping his family during this time of need. I will make contributions as I receive payments and subsequent to getting the package shipped out. 2-day international shipping still applies to all.

Simply put, I'd like to clear off my shelves, and would feel good about the money going towards a good cause.

200ml 1980's Yu Hua Long Factory (lighter clay of the two with working neck and tongue) - was $176 --> now $150, includes at least 100 grams of tea, mostly liu bao and some pu

125ml 1987-1992 Factory 1 Heini 204 (~28-30 second pour) - was $177 --> now $150, includes at least 100 grams of tea, mostly liu bao and some pu ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~SOLD!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

200ml Hokujo (hand-signed, mixed with Kaolin, porcelain-like, bits throughout) - was $400 --> now $350 (this is 30% off retail value of $500, can't go below this), includes tea caddy, bamboo scoop and 2 bags of your choice of 20 selections of 2017 shincha ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~SOLD!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I've also decided to list the new F2 Yixing (see here: viewtopic.php?f=87&t=11539&p=295745#p295745). It's a beauty, sourced by a friend from TC. I'd rather see it go to a good home that puts it through the wringer! It's mostly coffee and sencha for me these days. I'm sitting on half a year pile of shincha and would like to finish in time for gyokuro come winter! :D

Asking what I paid - $215, includes at least 100 grams of tea, mostly liu bao and some pu
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~SOLD!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First person to order an Yixing also gets this shirt , designed by our fellow TCer Cwyn, free. I've only worn a couple times, but don't drink much, if any, puerh these days.
I know you're not supposed to post stock photos, but screw it, my pictures are pretty horrid (iphone 4 pre-Siri is 7 years old now). This Hokujo is a beauty. I liked it enough where I actually got another of the same clay. To post pics soon! This pot was used a few dozen times for both fuka and asa. It can pull off both.
Ferg your generosity is heartwarming causing a level of reflection that is uplifting. Thank you.
Thinking of Chip, Ms Chip, her sisters family and how we can all embrace them right now with our warmth.
If Hokujo is still unclaimed, I welcome the opportunity knowing it goes to the family 🍃
Thanks for the kind words Victoria. And of course for picking up the pot. Very nice of you! :)
I just broke this baby out yesterday. And had Yutaka Midori on the enclosed patio this morning, first time this year. I typically resort to drinking sencha standing up next to the sink in my kitchen, while watching Journeys in Japan between steeps. But it's nice to set some time aside, to sit down, and reflect while drinking.
That makes two pots down, two to go. The proceeds are going to a good cause. I appreciate everyone's support!
Always wanted a Hokujo with bulb handle since seeing Chip's. The feel in-hand is so comfy! And the taller shape makes it even better for fuka! :mrgreen:
...and the Heini is sold. One more to go! 8)
Figured I'd post the stock photos, which I'm comfortable doing as I've never used the pot. Hope someone bites soon, so I can get this all shipped out together.
Not bumping as this is the most current topic. Just another quick update.
I'm shipping out the packages tomorrow evening. If you'd like this last pot by this Saturday, please let me know by tomorrow early evening.
Thanks again for all of your support going towards this good cause! :)
