OK...my short list includes this Japanese teacup...I love Japanese Maples and grow several. I have a soft spot for anything tea with Japanese Maples (Momiji)

You would have loved the Tokoname pot I saw today, it was my second choice, maybe I'll get it for my birthday, I made a special effort to show my wife... heh.

very understated brown pot with a pair of beautiful sublte maple leaves on the side. You want it, trust me.

Similar to 1033 on this page ofthe tokoname 2008 catelog, but better. :)

When I want something, I have to save up first, so there is a few weeks between when someting gets posted here then transfered to the "Show of your pots" thread.

Brandon, That is very, every nice. The cup is larger than it looked. I hope you enjoy them.

I was like that until I bought a sailboat. Now I have a tea budget, and a sailboat budget. You can't 'just buy stuff you want' with a sailboat, that shit is expensive and the list, it is long. My book budget is that I can only have 20 unread books in the house, but I read about 2-3 a week so that budget isn't anything to sneeze at either especially since I do stuff like buy $50 reference books from outside my own field to read. :( (that book is amazing btw, it's blowing my mind)

must.. make.. more... money...

Theoretically happiness is the art of being content with what you have. hmn....
