 Yep, and it's been done, but perhaps a variation or two for future polls/topics!

There is almost as "Intense Tea Discussion" on this subject as tea and sweetners on TeaChat. The scales vs the nonscales like to wage serious battle.

While I tend to prefer an intuitive trial and error approach, I have been using this "eco-plastic" version of the My Weigh 400-ZH lately and like it. While the cover-as-tray is a clever idea, I have some concern of tea dust and debris clogging its delicate mechanism over time, so usually place my display bowl on the scale platform instead.

There is quite a collection of scales on dealextreme:

Why that one mentioned here is suggested over the others?

I just mentioned that one, because it's the one I happened to buy. I've had it for maybe 4 months and I like it a lot. Some of the others may be as good or better!

It has been a while since I was on My Weigh's site. I guess they are wholesale only now. The scales are getting cooler and cheaper. Maybe mine will finally die soon.

You've all missed it!

This one! You'll never have to argue whether to use a scoop or a scale ... again!

Everytime you use a scale a tea fairy loses her wings.
