You'd think, being Korean, that it might be, huh? But, alas, no. I have quite a bit of celadon, but this particular piece is not. Great intuitive guess, though.

Victoria, are these available somewhere on line? Or at least a better look at them?

They are from Riku, and gone now as I own them! I should have snagged the close up pictures, they have since been taken down. I haven't taken any at home yet.
But they are beautiful!

Is Riku a vendor or a website where a person might look for teaware?

I hope that during the Chado session there are no ambient candles burning.. His suit would be a fire hazard indeed!

Yes, exactly, thanks Olivier. I have trouble remembering the name as I try to STAY AWAY from there!

Thanks, olivierco. Maybe Victoria is setting a good example when she says, "I try to STAY AWAY from there!" but I can't help myself.

Kind of expensive (but not for all items). However it sells teawares that I was unable to find elsewhere, at least for non exclusively japanese speaking stores.
And if you spend a cumulative total of 1500$ :o you will get a 10% discount

I got two packets from Japan today! And finally I had enough time to learn how to make a public photoalbum. It was much easier that I thought. Anyway, now I have lots of images I want to share with you and I'll start here. You'll be hearing from me in other topics as well...

I got five of these chatakus today

They came in this lovely box. Japanese really know how to pack things!
