You will like the completely different character compared to the Kirameki. The Kirameki is full of grace and elegance and subtleties.
The Miyabi and the Fukamushi Supreme, without ruining the experience for you, are at the other end of the spectrum in a very good way!

You should all be informed.
Sushi in Colorado is not good, and never will be. We are as far from the ocean as possible. I don't hate sushi, I just don't love it.
I had sushi I liked once, while visiting North Carolina.
So yes, as it stands, I would rather eat spent tea leaves.

Good, more sushi for me!
You can get veggie sushi which is really very tasty or sometimes I am hungry and need a quick fix, just roll rice and nori...yum!!!

I don't eat as much sushi as I used to when I lived in the Bay Area though. I had the added attraction of heading up to
Yoshi's for jazz, you could very commonly find me sitting at the sushi bar there reading and waiting for the next set.
( word of warning, my sources in Bay Area tell me Yoshi's Oakland has gone downhill a bit and prices have gone up as the companies energies are focusing on the new SF club. I haven't been there myself so can't verify the rumor. So sad. Next time I'm down there on biz I'll probably go to the SF club to see what's up, so I can't realliy blame everyone. Ah well, everything changes )

I love sushi. I mostly eat the vegetarian kind, but every now and then am tempted by some yellowfin. The local sushi place serves a decent green tea.
This afternoon I'm drinking some "choicest" Formosa oolong from Upton. I'm afraid it's not very good. It's not awful. It just tastes like typical Chinese restaurant tea.

I love sushi, and I love green tea.. the two naturally go well together! But the tea isn't absolutely required when I eat sushi. Mmm.. now I have a craving for some unagi.

So very true. I love sushi, but hard to get decent sushi in Colorado. Some Japanese friends of mine took me to Sushi Den in Denver for some, and it was okay. It was also my first experience with sea urchin gonads.
But I've never met anyone here that has thought sushi in Colorado was good.
I voted for "I Love Sushi." I'll eat it with tea or not, it matters not to me, really. Usually when I drink tea, I don't like to eat with it, but sometimes I'll have it with food.
Tring out white teas today with some Adagio Song Yang. Taking a break from greens for a while, and waiting for some Pu-Erh to come in.
