Chip,
I have hundreds of photos, but not every single one, no.
The Amish culture is SO interesting... we have a small Amish community here, and most of them have their babies at home with a lay midwife, but a few of them are afraid to give birth at home and come to the hospital where I do all my deliveries. I'd love to be in the heart of Pennsylvania-Dutch country and attend some homebirths sometime in my life... such a different world than the one I live in every day.

So I'm gonna start the box this weekend after my weekly trip to FTL, is that ok? Also planning to get down to the international district this weekend so I may include some chinese oolongs.
I'll throw in one of those disposable film cameras and everyone will be required to take a picture of the box before it leaves them. i'll develop and post the pics when it gets back to me.
Any other requests?

Send addresses to Victoria. I'm only starting the box because I just got a box from Victoria a few days ago so it made more sense for the oolong box to go the other direction.RussianSoul wrote:I'll take a nice museum quality YiXing. Or jade teapot. Thank you!tenuki wrote:Any other requests?![]()
Seriously though, should we send postal addresses to you or to Victoria?
Thank you for all the work and kindness. You are a doll!

I'm actually planning on sending a gaiwan along too so people who don't have one can play with it, then send it along. Hmnnn, contest for the gaiwan at the end of the box pass for those who tried it and liked it.... there's an idea. then again, if you are oolong lovers you probably already have one...RussianSoul wrote:I'll take a nice museum quality YiXing. So am I the only oolong lover that has no gaiwan? Shoot, I just got a yixing this week!tenuki wrote:I'm actually planning on sending a gaiwan along too so people who don't have one can play with it, then send it along. Auggy, I have neither... so you are in better shape than me. But I am managing just fine without, I think!
Why does one NEED a yixing and a gaiwan, really? How would my life be better?

No, you're not alone. All my teaware is English style & girly.auggy wrote:So am I the only oolong lover that has no gaiwan? Whew, I feel better now! I'll admit - I am more likely to collect cups over teapots. For that reason alone I'm trying to limit my teaware storage space to one shelf in one cabinet. I've got room for a few more cups but then I'll have to start getting rid of some things. So I'm being very very careful about the cups I buy. But I did find one with cartoon goldfish on it that I might have to get.
