Yeah, you get to be a real live Stark!
By the way, get to work on that tea powered robo-suit.

Re: Short rant
I'm new here, so I wasn't planning on jumping in. I really have nothing negative to say about the guy. He's been nice to me and I even bought a pot partly on his suggestion.scruffmcgruff wrote:Am I the only one who thinks tenuki is an insufferable ass?

Me too, but on the whole I feel like we are arriving as better ways to deal with a person who is difficult but worth interacting with. He is not an easy character, and I know I feel better about him after all the above discussion, however unflattering it often has been. I also just ordered a pot and two teas from Stéphane because of Tenuki. But I know several people are still smarting from bouts with Tenuki and need to get it off their chests.chamekke wrote:I feel a little funny about talking about a guy who isn't here to defend himself.
Sometimes I think village gossip can be a good and rehabilitative thing that makes the community stronger and more supportive of all its members. Not always, but I think this is one of those times.

I agree with Sal. Being able to vent a bit here limits the number of altercations with him on the forum. Besides, I think mostly our complaints aren't out of line. We seem to agree that he is a) an ass, b) infuriating, and c) worth having around. In this case I think ITD serves as a rather comfortable "teacher's lounge."

'tis true, it did feel a little funny, and I sort of regret doing it, but I felt a sudden need to spill my guts. I'm not quite used to the idea of a private forum, and I haven't yet seen the nomination process, so I don't know exactly what goes on behind closed doors, but I sort of appreciate knowing some background information on members that seem to irk others at times. I feel like knowing more can only help me be a better member out in the main forum.chamekke wrote:I feel a little funny about talking about a guy who isn't here to defend himself.
