I voted for starting a new thread. It's just too big, especially if you want to find something that wasn't recently posted. One site that I frequent lets each member create an album for photos. New photos are featured for 48 hrs as thumbnails on the photo section homepage. Gives the option to click if want to see larger image or leave a comment. Not sure if Adagio wants to go to that trouble or expense but it is a nice feature.
Geekgirl - looks like you had a blast. Summer outdoor concerts are the best! We've been to 3 this year & it's been great.
Spending 4 days away from our kids called for some serious family time today! Started off w/a special bfast of cinnamon rolls, fruit & Organic Monk's Blend tea. My 5 yo dtr & I had lunch at our favorite tea room. She picked the tea so we had White Chocolate Mousse. It's not what I would have picked but it was actually pretty good. The day's been full of black tea so looking forward to some lighter oolong tonight. Hope to get to the Hatsumi tmrw after I finish getting everything unpacked, washed, etc.

Enough with the Fanaticism!!
Drinking a sample of a splendid 1985 wild raw YiWu toucha from Stephane.
This one is similar in taste to my 80s lincang yinhao toucha actually which is suprising and a bit bizarre, certainly a bit stronger but in the same ballpark. the leaves are bigger, and there is a bit more camphor and a touch less sweetness.
Very nice puerh! I'm experimenting and brewing it in my Duan Ni pot this time instead of my purple monster, next time I'll brew in that and compare.
On a side note today I noticed my purple YiXing is starting to season well. I'm only feeding it the finest puerhs since the reset and it is starting to show. I'm actually kinda glad I screwed it up with some crappy puerh cause I got to start again with some experience and some decent pu.

Yours do that too, huh? Damn cats.
Yep. I've finally gotten them to leave my Christmas cactus alone by providing them with a rotating supply of spider plant. I have 14 small planters, each with one or two small spider plants in them. I'll bring one planter in until they eat it down to a nub, then take it back outside to regrow and bring a new one in. If I wait too long to bring the new one in, they eat a bit of the Christmas cactus and puke it up on the floor.

The things we do...
So tell me, do they puke up the spider plant too? I've been thinking of providing them with catgrass, but I don't want to clean up messes.

Tea came finally. Right now I'm having masala chai which is very yummy, I'm glad that I bought the 4 oz tin instead of a sample afraid that it would sell out again. I think I put just a tab bit too much milk in. Another perfect Adagio order.

I find fresh grapefruit peels work wonderful as cat repellent. But then, it probably all depends on the cat.

I've been working on this oolong all day. It is one of the best oolongs I've had. Ever. Wow. It is a Taiwanese High Mountain Ice Oolong from Serenity Art. It has a wonderful smooth, full taste, tiniest hint of astringency. I'm on probably my 6th or 7th steep - 1-2 minute steeps, except for a couple I forgot about and left to steep for 4-5 minutes. Even then it was still very good.
I LOVE the look of gongfu in glass.

That really is beautiful. I'm sure you told us already somewhere, but where did you get that nice pot? If you say Serenity Art, I'll gag.
Takes "

Okay. I won't say it.

(I probably could be persuaded to pick another one up next time I'm out there.

No kidding, right? My life is controlled by little furry dictators.
Nope, no puking up the spider plant, at least not as long as they get it regularly. When I used to bring one in just every month or so, one of mine would sometimes throw some of it up but usually because she was dealing w/ hairball issues. Now that one is out all the time, there is no plant-related puking.
The cat grass has also been a big hit at the house, but the spider plants seem to be more resilient than the grass.

I've seen that one in the store (link doesn't work right now, I think their site is down, so I'm guessing which one it is.) Yes it's very nice, and it's not ridiculously small, you could get a traditional teacup out of it, I think. It's also $30-35? This one cost $9, and it's just as nice. No joke.
I'm thinking of picking up the little tiny 100ml one from YSLLC because I love the glass so much. Somebody around here has a gorgeous little glass pot in a pumpkin shape. It was from Houde? wantz.
