Geek - the Boazhong is indeed amazing, a great find by Tenuki that has generated much interest and many sales. The Magnolia oolong was my find, and I'm quite pleased with its delicate flavor and aroma. It's a very nice everyday tea, also amazing iced. Very understated and unassuming. Both of those are in my top rotation.
Just for clarification, the teamasters is the 2008 2yearold tree spring wenshan? Yes, it is indeed delicious!
The magnolia is very good, very mild. My husband and I both agreed that it is less like oolong, and more like jasmine pearl. Except you can see in the spent leaves that it is an oolong.

Good music choices that seem to go better with a bottle of Wild Turkey or a sixpack than with tea. I would also include Charlie Daniels and the Outlaws in that list.
I don't listen to music when I drink tea, but only because I sold my stereo a year ago and haven't yet replaced it. With the amount of teaware I've purchased, I could have easily bought a new sound system. Right now while I drink tea I listen to the sounds of nature; automobiles zipping by on Route 18 which unfortunately is located about 100 yards from my open window.

Bronzebed - those are 2 different oolong, right?

If I could, I'd probably listen to music while doing pretty much everything, including drinking tea
Life is like a cup of tea, savor it slowly or it will be gone too fast

I constantly have music going in my house. Just depends who else is home as to how loud it is.

Nothing better than being home alone & the stereo cranked to classic rock. Omegapd, my taste is similar to yours but w/o the country. But gimme Eagles, Lynard Skynard, Journey, Boston... & I'm a happy camper.
Golden Monkey w/bfast. No other tea as we spent the day in Atlanta at the museum. Off to dinner now so any future tea is questionable.

I listen to music at work, but not so much at home. So it really depends where I am.

My Glenburn Wiry Vintage Darjeeling in my new favorite cup, I've brewed this up twice today, a lovely tea.

Good teas today, had the FTC Spring Sprouts from Rishi and likely finishing the day with Yutaka Midori from O-Cha. As good as the tea was today, I still want more.

Heading off in a bit to investigate a few new local tea/teaware stores in the eternal quest for cups - thanks to doyoulovedee and Pentox for the suggestions! Will post pics if I stumble across anything particularly interesting
i hope your explorations found you something cool today.

Somehow that has never stopped me. Cats are one of the major things that set off my allergies, yet I have two and one of them even sleeps with me. I've found that after a while, you build up a tolerance to the cats you are around a good amount of the time. When I am around other cats that I am not used to, my allergies hit me full force still, but with mine, I am fine for the most part.
I love listening to music when I enjoy my tea. I enjoy anything from jazz to metal. I do enjoy quiet at times, but my music is mostly going.
Today, I've had some Casablanca on the road to school, but haven't gotten to anything else during the chaos of unpacking and setting up my dorm.

What a way to start! That is a stunning pot and, I might add, a very fetching picture of it. Thanks so much for sharing. I love the matching cups!

And we have another shooter! Yay!
watch out for the "collections." Can you say "slippery slope?"
