Todays tea:

Morning: 2 cups of Darjeeling
Afternoon: 1 cup of Ceylon Kenilworth, 1 cup of Keemun
Evening: 3 cups of Kukicha

Todays topic:

I'm a goal person and even if I really love a book, I love to finish it. Same with tea mostly, very seldom I'm sad about it. Plus, I love running out of tea, good excuse to buy more

I really can't stand having a little left of a lot of teas. I want to have much or nothing. If I have only a little, I feel a great urge to use it.

If it’s good tea, I tend to horde it until it goes bad. If it’s Puerh, I tend to horde it until it goes better. On those rare occasions when I actually do finish something, I feel exultant, like there is hope that I am getting better.

The clown is an unloved drifter. For me, he recalls my eldest’s infancy; for her, one more thing she doesn’t need to drag along. He has nothing to do with my tea except to add a blotch of color in photos. He has spent most of his life in a file cabinet drawer, where he can not menace innocent TeaGirls, so when I take him out he is very well behaved and appreciative of the reprieve.

I chose quite thick plexiglass so there is no risk, but it looks bad and will get worse. I have been meaning to get some 1” doweling to prop them up. Thanks for inspiring me to get it done this long weekend.

The stuff in front of it gives that illusion in the photo, but it is sitting very safely on the box it came in, just behind and above the clutter.

My house is blooming with accomplishment today. We bought a stepping stone kit to make a pet memorial stone to put in out pet semetary and me finally finished the memorial plaque for my dog, Cassidy, who died three years ago. My next project is to get river stones and paint my recently deceased cat and rat and soon to be deceased rat (we're putting him to sleep this week :().
On a lighter note, I cheated and had McDonalds' sweet tea today...it was okay, better than other sweet teas that I've tried.
Pulled pork for dinner. I'll have to make some iced tea to go with it, Ceylon BOP? I love Ceylon for iced tea :D .

Awesome stuff, Sal.
Even though Sal is proven to be a superior collector, I thought I would share my "Buddhist tea altar."

Definitely replace!

Been drinking Ceylon Sonata today. I'm going to mix it with some Vanilla now.

"Other" because it varies rather wildly.

Wow, I actually like this jasmine tea over ice! That's two teas in my life that I've enjoyed iced, now. Both have them have been expensive loose-leaf. Go figure.

In quotes, because it was paraphrased from an earlier comment on Sal's collection.

I feel almost panic-stricken. Should I buy more? How long will it take to get the order. Oh, no.

Family reunion weekend -- no tea except the brown stuff in the bottle.

Nice photos Salsero and Brandon.

Funny, Started the day with Farmer Shincha blended with some less than stellar gyokuro. tasty! Before heading out for a picnic, put it in the fridge for the fourth steep.

I love the farmer blended and like it straight.

I made Jasmine Iced for the first time today for a picnic. Came out quite good. Now I can finally use my huge surplus of Jasmine green. Blended it with a touch of honey.

The poll. Since I made up the answers, I could choose any of them. I like to finish off a bag in a timely manner, if I can do this, I feel good about it. But given that I just finished off a few teas in the last couple days, I have come to the conclusion that I really like the anticipation of opening a new tea to replace the emptied one.

Besides the previously mentioned teas, I also enjoyed an Uji sencha bag from O-Cha. And currently Ancient Tea Tree Flowers from Rishi. I have to say, another great TeaDay!
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
