Much better! Now I just want to reach in for a sip. :D

No white for me today. I'm working through the single cup samples from the oolong box. Currently it is snow pear oolong. Snow is white; will that count for the official white tea day?

I've been lazily productive today. I managed to oil/dust the wood in my living room (everything GLOWS now!) I've also played a little with attempting to paint with watercolors. Not entirely successful, but I'm getting better. I've done a little laundry and done the dishes. But I'm still in my pjs! I think my next act of productivity will be to shower and dress.

No white for me today; just regular greens.
So I finally received my own rice porcelain teacup from an Etsy seller. I totally love it and just had to share with everyone!

I prefer Bai Mu Dan over Yin zhen, because there's the flavor is stronger in the former...and I don't have an appreciation of Yin Zhen's lightness I guess

Pai Mu Tan (Bai Mu Dan) White Peony as promised. Delicate, sweet and subtle.

I popped mine open today, I wasn't very impressed by it. The fuka aspect kinda hid the flavor of the YM.

Smari, that's a beautiful cup. I love the see-through effect.

The only white I have is some White Masala Chai that's got White Peony in it instead of black tea. It's good but I don't drink it very often.

Wosret - Sweet cup and saucer. pretty, pretty, pretty!

I had most of my tea today (Nilgiri and Nepal 1st Flush) before seeing today's poll. To celebrate White Tea Day, I stayed away from my 2 favorite whites (White Darjeeling & SnowBud) to have something that very few people have on their shelves: Winter Moon from LetsDoTea. It's an infusion of Pai Mu Tan, Sencha, Pineapple Bits, Red Peppercorns, and Vanilla. The flavor is sweet and a little odd, still manages to be light...and I decided a few months ago to finish it up eventally but not buy a 2nd tin :) .

Adagio used to carry a White Assam...I miss that.

Alright, I caved, kinda almost, on the white tea. I went down to Tao of Tea today to pick up a couple of their newest seasonals.

One of these was the Yu Ya Prized Green. The description makes it sound like silver needle, and it is very much like a fujian silver needle tea, although the needles are just a touch more delicate in appearance, but very fuzzy. Brew is slightly more robust and nutty, like a white peony.

I had some Ceylon yellow tea which tastes suspiciously like white tea, not sure if that means I participated in white tea day though.

Nice photos today!!!!

I don't think that qualifies, Proinsias. As I read your post, all that I thought about was "don't eat yellow snow."

So, about to have a 5th steep of the Adagio Silver Needles. I am impressed with how nice this is, flavorful, sweet, fruity.

While I was out, I had a sample teabag from the Expo that was just so so. And this evening finishing off an impressive TeaDay with Rishi Ancient Tea Tree Flowers, O/FTC.

Thanks Sal! Yes, I did take the photos myself. I just basically messed around with the lighting and put the cup underneath the lamp to illuminate it. It was fun!

Thanks Victoria! I find it to be very difficult trying to find these type of cups but was fortunate enough to get a hold of this one :)

I tried getting some information from the seller about it but she wasn't able to provide with any except that this was passed on to her from a relative. Underneath the cup, it just has a gold sticker noting "Japan", and that's it.
