At work with my second brew - 2nd Place Baozhong from FLT.

I am thinking I really enjoyed my breakfast Green Darjeeling more.

Busy day ahead, I will require muy mucho tea.

Beautiful photo as always, Salsero! I particularly like that you show us the leaf before it is steeped, after it is steeped, and of course the precious nectar itself. And the vessels are really shweet!

I voted "sounds of silence". Actually, I most often get a craving for tea when on the computer (at home or work) or when watching a movie. But then I take a quick time-out to prepare and fully enjoy the tea. I don't want to miss any part of the experience.

In my cup: some delicious Phoenix Oolong Special Grade from New Century Tea Gallery that was a kind gift from Geekgirl.

I chose music because with a great tea, you don't want to be distracted. Music is the perfect accompaniment without being distracting. On the contrary, it can enhance the experience.

Only thing better than music, would be to be in the company of good people. How about soft music and people. That's perfect.

Sorry to hear that, GWS!!!

Heh, I am not a multi tasker, so, maybe sounds of silence. All the above would work too, but I won't be as focused on the tea.

Uji Kabuse from the Expo. I swear this is fading with each passing day.
Adagio Silver Needle, quite tasty.
Oolong Box Pass Wuyi.
And now Chiran Supreme/O-Cha.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Me too! Sounds like the perfect afternoon.

I wonder if I can get both kids to take a nap today so I can try it. I'm in the early stages of my holiday knitting so I have a lot to do. And the Halloween costumes aren't made yet.

In my cup, some of yesterday's Craigshead Estate ceylon...Nothing new today yet.

I'm back and feeling a tad bit better; I decided on genmaicha since both the aroma and the flavor enticed me into drinking tea today. However, thanks again for your suggestions auggy, the 'scent' won this one.

Have an enjoyable afternoon!

Music or silence are my faves. In the morning it's just me, my cats and the creaky wood floors :D Ahhhh....

Enjoying a good malty assam right now. Getting ready for a nice bike ride into town.

Have a great day everyone!

I LOVE this tea, my all-time favorite!

Currently slurping on my 2nd cup of genmaicha and zoning to Pink Flyod...oops Floyd! :)
I grew up on their music, my parents loved them and still do, me as well. Comfortably Numb is current selection and that I truly am w/my 23 lb Mordor draped across my lap and little Sencha cuddled on my neck. Who could ask for more?
More tea... next selection I think I will go for something GREEN.

I'm trying to decide what to do for holiday gifts this year. My mom and my sister's family are easy -- we've decided to go to Disney in early December instead of giving gifts to each other. But that still leaves my husband and my in-laws. Not too bad. I usually knit everyone's presents. Last year I wasn't going to, but then I realized I had no idea what to buy anyone. So knitting it was!

geeber1: Right now I'm drinking iced blackberry black tea, because I've been running errands, but as soon as I cool off it's back to the Irish breakfast. Great stuff.

Shelob: glad you're feeling better. Cats and tea always help, and classic Pink Floyd never hurts. :)

For me it's book, closely followed by one of my mindless activities- tv or computer. Tea is pretty much the perfect complement for me for anything, but I don't tend to appreciate the more complex teas (especially whites and greens) when I'm really preoccupied- like when I'm working. I normally drink flavored black at work, and am currently downing a cup of Adagio's Pink Grapefruit black.
