Oolong will make it all better, yes?

TeaChat dramatically changed my teaware preferences. I started out using a 16oz mug and a teaball for tea. Now I have two kyusu, a glass teapot, a glass gaiwan, and at least six cups that are all smaller than the original 16oz one.
Currently in my cup: sencha. It's awesome.

My taste in teaware has not changed since TeaChat. Although my overall interest in tea has definitely increased thus opening me to other tea experiences that I normally wouldn't have known about.
I just had a chirashi bowl and a bottle of some kind of AMAZING oolong!!! It was sooo amazing that I may post a picture of it in the oolong forum to see if someone can identify what kind it is. MUST HAVE MORE!!!! Super toasty almost like mild coffee or barley tea. YUM!

I forgot to answer the topic question. My tastes in teaware were not changed much really when I joined TC. I had been drinking tea 6 years and my tastes were pretty solidified already.
Kabusecha from Uji from the Expo is in my cup currently. Pretty good kabuse.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

TeaChat has not influenced me very much in Teaware. I still use my 2 IngenuiTea. Usually with a Pu-erh in one and an oolong in the other.
A Tung Ting in my cup right now.

It's official. I am sick. But not with the sinus infection that I've been fighting... noooooo, it's with the virus that everyone had and kept coming to work with.
So as I suck down more green tea, I am waiting for the phone people to finish installing our repaired phones and then I will go home.
But of course, I'll end up getting the phone people sick before then, becoming one of those people I complained about earlier. Sigh. Irony sucks.
Oh well. At least I have tea.

In the interests of public safety, I have edited the genmaicha for radioactivity. The color still isn't quite right, but it's closer than it was. Thanks Pentox for reminding me to look at the model occasionally as I work!

Okay, it is official - I adore you!

My name in pink and kitties are mentioned - fantastic!
That's my big bold plan for when I get home. Change into cuddly pjs, get on the couch under an afghan and try to temp one (or more!) of my kitties to come cuddle to me. That plus a cup of tea on the coffee table and some truly tacky TV on and I am in my sick-person's cocoon.

Ojno Auggy! Didn't your coworkers get the memo that germs are one of those things that you're not supposed to share!
Just be glad that if you get the phone people sick they won't be around to pass it back to you.

I upgraded to a mason jar. I blame it all on Victoria. I now have a set of 6 for when company comes over and the good stuff comes out.
This has gone from a few awful tea days to a decent one. Finishing up the day with a hearty Assam to which I added some cream for fun (Vulture helped me with that idea). You know what? It's pretty darn good.

I actually drank tea today!!!! Adagio's Irish Breakfast the Dutch ways (with milk and sugr).
My high school senior project is fianlly taking shape. This week I'm writing my first draft. I had my senior seminar teacher say that she didn't know tea was that important after looking at my notes. Hehe....
If anyone wants me to use one of their videos of gong fu or any other style of tea preparation PM me a link! Or better yet send me the file so I can added it into my presentation! I also will be PMing some people for permisson to use their tea pictures in my presentation.
I promise you guys I will let you see it after I'm done!
