I've been wanting to try more Oolongs, so this sounds like a good place to start.

This morning, 2 steeps of Darjeeling #22, now I've moved on to Irish Breakfast. Trying to brace myself to take my daughter and friend to the movies.

it's still sencha season for me, but i do tend to develop some oolongish leanings as the weather gets colder... never tried alishan, so it sounds good to me.

My TeaDay is about to get fabulous, as kymidwife sent me a box of samples to try. Sarah rocks! The hardest part is deciding what to try first...

Just throw 'em all together in a big jug and set them out in the sun.

Coincidentally, I just received an O-Cha gyokuro from Sarah, about to give it a whirl. She also sent mugicha and some home roasted barley tea.

Ali Shan sounds like a great idea. It has been on my list to purchase when I make my next Adagio order but that has not quite happened yet so I haven't been able to try it.

Today, I am drinking sencha. After the sencha, I will most likely go back to hot apple cider with bits of ginger and a cinnamon stick thrown in for a bit of spice.

I hope you can revive the Gyo... I just drank the last of mine yesterday, and I found with a bit more leaf than I would normally use, it was quite tasty again. I will have to buy less next time so it gets used in a more timely fashion.

Let me know how you l ike the mugicha and Sarah's Roast!

And a definite YES to the Ali Shan from me. I am loving high mountain oolongs in general, and Adagio's Ali Shan is the only Ali Shan I've tried so far. I'd love the chance to compare some other vendors.

Ali Shan is a clear and simple choice for me - Yes!

I love Ali Shans, have tried a several - great tea. Didn't have a chance to try Adagio's yet, it is on the list for my next order. It would very interesting to do a side by side tasting with this tea,

I have been so busy this afternoon, not even a spare moment to check and tell you about my wonderful afternoon tea - the much sought after Castleton moonlight. Ummm First Flush. Yep, thanks to Trioxin I got to try this beauty and I'm here to tell you - yeah it is all that. Beautiful, green; yet smooth, not a hint of bitterness, just delicious. Thanks again Trioxin, now I understand what all the fuss was about.

Yesterday I dropped and broke my beloved Hagi cup on the carpeted yet cement office floor; today I dropped my favorite timer and broke it too. Hopefully I'm done now.

They say (my superstitious family) that bad things happen in threes...so break something insignificant now, and be done with this cycle of bad luck
