I would make it in a bucket if I had to.

Down to the last of the Sencha Yutaka-Midori this morning. :(

Re-thinking my vote, of course I'd try it anyway. What kind of tea-obsessed woman would I be if I didn't? :o

First cup this A.M. - a lovely light White Assam. One of those cups where taste seemed a shallow measure of the tea because it immediately refreshed body and spirit all at once. Made me think of the tea chi (what was that word?) that was brought up a few threads back. What a great way to start a week.

First cup at work - enjoying a blend of mixed fruit-flavored whites I put together to finish off various tins of white pear, white tropics, etc. It got me pleasantly through a meeting...and now to tackle the rest of the morning!

So far today, some o-cha chiran supreme cold brew. It's still not cold enough here in the morning to want regular.

Mine started with a nice strong Assam this morning and has moved on to my favorite loose shu Pu-erh, Upton's Pu-erh Classic. Finishing it up, so better head over to that site and order some more  Even though I have a ton of stuff here, I don't have that one anymore...

Yezzz, no, and yezzz. Oh, and Koi stopped by too and hung out with us. It was a tea partay!
Chip, you are full of such mystery and intrique! You just want to keep us guessing, just how many cats and Geishas do you own?
Tea Partays must be a hoot, meow, or a howl, haha  at your house!

Micki is writing this for me, but I am getting better everyday, or at least I do feel that way. Will be leaving for PA tomorrow, Thank all for the cards I received so far. I'll be back, friends just stopped in, and oh, Japanese green in my cup right now! Later, Skye

Nescafe cups

by treazure » Oct 27th, '08, 15:03

I don't think Nescafe is running the cup deal right now but I found some on eBay. Look up either Nescafe mugs, cups or world globe cups/mugs. Mine have been bounced off the desk and off the counter without breaking. Considering the average life span for plates and glasses in this house is under a year and we've had these for several years, they're pretty sturdy!

Still slurping down golden monkey and liking it more with every pot. Oolong likes it too, but she is going to have to be content with the tablespoon of Oolong I put in her sock mouse. (She's a cat.)

I now bring leaves with me on business and pleasure trips and I actually like the challenge of finding unconventional ways to brew my tea. Oolongs are especially easy for travel because you can keep the leaves right in the cup depending on what kind of oolong you have. Also, matcha or powdered green tea in a water bottle is a good way to go when on the road.

So far today - Hibikian shincha, two bowls of matcha, fukamushi....maybe genmaicha to end the day :D

I am also glad to hear you are improving! :D Good tea choice. Hi also to you Micki. :!:

There are geisha cats and geisha. And they know "howl" to partay.

Delilah has not been well the last couple days.

Baozhong currently in my cup. I have not had one for a few weeks.

WOW, excellent TeaDay!

And yep, travelling with tea is always a challenge, but I virtually never leave home without it.

Speaking of business trips I have one too. But local at least. I'm off now to a mantatory work conference ending who knows how late this evening. Only to get up and go to work again. ... Oy! Mostly I like my job, but days like this, not so much.

I've packed a thermos of my best oolong tea and hope I can manage to stay awake.

In my travel mug is my new Nilgiri Neela from ToT.

I answered "yes I believe so " - regretfully - because I have just begun to learn what a dfference brewing something the right way vs the wrong way can make - and I am impressed - and curious to do things as well as I can. Oversteeped over cooked Jasmine tea. Enough said!

Assam Harmony again tonight - I really appreciate the mildness. When I first started drinking tea-all I wanted was something to change the flavor of plain water without turning it day-glo orange or making it taste like jelly beans .

( this is soooo much better)

I'd still try it out. I understand how different shapes, sizes, and materials can affect the tea's brewing and flavour, but I'm no tea master, so I doubt I'd ever be able to tell the difference between the different pots.
I believe drinking tea makes me a better artist. But hey, I also believe I'm completely sane.
