Looks like I win for the warmest spot in the USA!! Currently 66 and headed to 82 today! And yeah, be jealous. That's why I moved here!!

In my cup at work: I made another pot of the SRT Red Peach - it tasted so good, and like several of you I am sick too. Seems like black teas hit the spot when you have a sore throat.

This morning, First Flush Darjeeling from ToT.

As far as the question for the day goes, it may sound a bit mean, but I don't really miss you guys that much. If I'm not able to check on teachat for the day it means i'm pretty busy doing something. And when i'm that busy I don't have time to miss something/someone.

Well, actually, it just arrived minutes ago. I received samples of 5 new offerings. White Symphony, Emerald Needle, Fujian Baroque, and Yunnan Noir ... plus the Golden Spring.

What to try???

i'm still very new to posting, but i've been reading this forum like the morning paper for quite some time, and i definitely feel like something is going un-done if i can't find the time to pop on and look around at least every couple of days.

The one about TeaChat is how riled up it gets me about tea and tea ware...
I'll be casually looking over the threads, and suddenly I feel the urge that I need a new teapot for this or a new set of cups for that, and suddenly I need tins...

I can't believe you're sick AGAIN Auggy, it feels like you were just getting over being sick!

Psh 35 is not cold! It's like 45 here and that's not cold either!
I KNOW! Ugh, October has sucked for health. Sinus infection, virus and now this cold thing. Grrr. I'm a bit pissy about it.

And 35 IS cold! It's 58 here now and THAT'S still cold!
That's it, I'm moving in with Victoria.

And y'all is a perfectly acceptable word. At least I haven't yet busted out the "all y'all" yet. Well, on this board at least. So :P

Ohhh that would be fun! I bet a day at the beach would make us both feel better. Then we could have some tea and play with perfumes.

Yay! Beach and tea and perfumes! It can be a medicinal trip. That means insurance will cover it, right? :D

You know what you need? more tea! That and stop being around sick people. Sick people probably aren't helping your cause.

Ah Texans...

You need to get yourself out here to the sunny (ugh) land of CA.

I'm very much a newbie here, but already I like the fact that this is a great place to come to calm myself if I'm a little stressed at work. I'll sit here and cruise through what people have to say and what they have in their cups and sip my own cup of tea. I also just like to surf through Adagio's teas and read about them when I have the time. I find it immensely interesting (and costly, should I decide I'd like to try some  ).

Right now I'm sipping away at a brew of lemongrass, chamomile, and rose hips, since it's caffeine free and I need to wind down (even though I'm still at work).

And Farenheit? Really? Celsius is where it's at. And I don't see why you folks are whining :P I've lived in the high Canadian arctic where the temperatures hit between -40*C and -50*C every day in the winter. Seal skin mitts were the best investment I've ever made. :D
