I'm a wuss when it comes to hot tea. I burn my tongue all the time.
But I still like my tea to be hot, not luke warm. I don't like it as much when it gets cool, but I'll still drink it.
As for tea I'm drinking, I started the day with a second infusion of my Libra sample. It's definitely more a dessert tea as opposted to a breakfast tea.
Now I'm sipping away at some ti kuan yin oolong with 3 jasmine #12 pearls. It seems to be my typical steep to start the work day. Yum!
I believe drinking tea makes me a better artist. But hey, I also believe I'm completely sane.

ditto teaguru. I like my tea cooled off slightly, but still hot. I'm not crazy about the burnt tastebud feel.
Drinking NCTG Iron Goddess King this morning. Good stuff, as usual.
Sal, nice selective lighting on today's photo, very pretty.

The way I enjoy tea changes as it cools down. When a tea gets lukewarm I enjoy it more as a casual beverage, something like water. I usually try to keep my tea warm, by drinking it quickly which can backfire when I burn my tongue >.<

very late 'teastart' today, boy can one get lazy when not workin'
Finishing up the last of my Ali Shan then will move onto one of the few Japanese greens I brought w/me.
Because of my work habits, I too sip on tea all day, so it is usually all temps, however I do normally drink my greens as quickly as I can. Ohhh, never mic my tea, rather put on ice and drink quickly!
Have a FAB TeaDay everyone and don't 4get to tell us whatz in ur cup

Ok Geek - you inspired me to dig out my saved bag of Iron Goddess King!
A really excellent oolong is soooo long overdue.

Love your travel mug, Omegapd. Also love the Bunn Coffee in 5 Minutes brewer in the background.
In my cup is Red Rose - my order still isn't here. Sigh. Movie of the day is Shawn of the Dead. Then I'm thinking Night of the Comet which was bloody hard to find in DVD. Having totally blown half the day, I'll go make the tortillas for dinner tonight. (So hard to make, masa, little salt, water, patta patta pat till round and thin or use a tortilla press, cook one side, then other, stack and cover with a towel and hide them from the cats.
Unless the teas arrive. If that happens, I'm going to test slurp each one of them and tell the husband person that he'll have to make do with store bought tortillas.
Jeanne - I never met a tea pot I didn't like.

For me it depends on what kind of tea, but most of them time I am ok with cold tea because I do have the syndrome of hating to throw away things
I came back home for a long lunch and tea break today. Had a long session of oriental beauty oolong

Not anything super, but I did find this nice glass mug on my travels this morning...
It holds about 10 oz. and was "broken in" with some Adagio Capricorn iced tea a few minutes ago...

The new Adagio White Symphony, a higher grade White Peony, Bai Mudan. This is really nice. 3 enjoyable steeps down, might save the rest for this evening. Going to start a topic under whites for this.

Problem is- you seen one glass cup you seen them all. I need to get down to your neck of the woods and find the good stuff in the antique malls.
