I don't give hints. Whatever I can think of, I can get it myself. I would let other people show me things I haven't thought of :D

En, Victoria's idea about giving hints about what you do NOT want is a great one! I will try to use it and reduce unwanted gifts. If I still get unwanted gifts I will regift :D

Thanks for sharing your photos on TeaDay, Brandon. I always appreciate the understated yet somehow masculine look.

I do regift and I appreciate a regifting in my direction. If it's to get rid of junk, no good; if it's to move along something perfectly fine, but not-my-style, hey, why not?

In the cup is a blond, excellent true blond Yunnan red tea (Yunnan Gold) from Imperial Tea Court. Anybody else finding it hard to find these nowadays?

OK, my first post. Let's see if it went somewhere.
Welcome to TeaChat! Is there any special significance with your user name? Adagio has Yunnan Gold and a lot of fans.

I should have been giving hints all along. I plan to this year. Teaware, tea, and Japanese canisters are high on my list, but TeaBucks reign supreme as they always equate to exactly what I want.

Started the TeaDay with Chiran Supreme from O-Cha. Sweetie liked more than me? Lil' Bit was present but was really there to be right in front of a radiant heater on a chilly, damp morning.

Just finished a mini session of Fijitbutso from O-Cha/Tsuen Tea Shop (Kyoto). I like this gyokuro a lot.

Now if I could just get over the fear of using it! Its such a work of art I don't want to break it lol.
Very nice indeed. The texturing will help your confidence in handling.

I likes it lots. 8)

I'm happy because I found more Sweet Flower Oolong.
I thought I was out. So it is in my cup!

I'm a hinter, yeah, but more often I just tell people exactly what I want from where. I'm also apparently hard to shop for, so they like it that way.

Been a bit slow today with only a cup of Irish Breakfast at 11. Some roasted Anxi TGY ought to help things along.

This looks even better than I thought, I have been tempted by that pot for awhile. It is a smaller size, right?

280ml (9oz) if I am not mistaken.
A little too big to my taste but very nice looking!

Yep It is about 9oz, I'm new to this so I was actually really amazed at how tiny it actually was. I plan on drinking atleast 2 cups when I use it so its a good size for me. But it looks even cooler in person than it did on the website. Very detailed and textured, I've never owned anything so "artistic" lol.

Also if anyone is looking for a site to host pictures Isara Pix (part of isara.org) is an amazing charity that I volunteer for. It is incredibly easy to use and host pics for forums and what not. Every time you use it you are directly helping the less fortunate.

Yeah it's a bit cool here this morning as well. I think like 48.
That's our high today. :( Did I mention I don't like winter? I'm miserable if it is below 65. At least I am no longer in Iowa, so that's a bonus.

It depends on how many steeps you get from your sencha.
I usually get 3 or 4 steeps of my sencha so with a 4-5oz kyuusu which yields about 15-18 oz of tea.
However there isn't any obligation to fill totally your kyuusu.

I voted Maybe. If anyone asks, I am going to request gift certificates from my favorites like Adagio or TeaSource.

This morning I had some Adagio Golden Spring. I'm kind of on the fence on this one, I need to try it a couple more times.

Yesterday I got an IngenuiTEA to use here at work with green samples included, as well as the Fresh Arrivals sampler. One of the greens they sent me was Cocomint Green. I made some up for my 9-year-old using my new gaiwan. She was thrilled! I'm not usually a flavored tea fan, but this was actually pretty good. More on the minty side than cocoa. And green ... who'd a'thunk it? :D

Since I am new to the world of tea, and don't know anymore than my cohorts, I probably won't say a word, or I may wind up with more of the same cr** I already have.

I'm definitely dropping hints! Actually, it's not so much 'dropping' as it is pitching it into their faces at point blank range.

Anytime I find some kind of tea or teaware that I really like, and it's within the gift budget of my parents or brother then I email a link of it to them and tell them that's what I want, and when they have to buy it by if they want it to be here by Christmas. I know, I'm bad.

I don't really have anything in my cup right now...I'm trying decide what I want next...
I believe drinking tea makes me a better artist. But hey, I also believe I'm completely sane.

I don't like getting gifts from others that apply to my hobbies. They're usually wrong or just not quite right. Unless you have the insaniTEA, you don't know the right medicine. :D

So, no, no hints.

Drinking: At work, trying to finish off this awful "Uncle Lee's Green tea" :(
I think I'll hit some TKY at home

8) Sal, gorgeous pic as always and Brandon, just love yours too! Very modern feel and clean lines :)

I voted Absolutely, but mostly am dropping hints to give me TeaMoney so I can get what I want. Fortunately, I can also print pics'descriptions, and where to find the items I desire and give to my fam and friends. We are somewhat frugal and don't want to waste hard earned $ on unsure presents. So years ago as we are no longer children, we decided that it is better to be exact about what we want!

Have a Fab TeaEvening, no tea yet for me today and looks like it will be a while. Gotta go!
