Tying this into tea somehow, I'm afraid that most of my tea purchases are made online, which I'm a little disheartened about. I'm used to going into a physical tea house, having that long conversation with the "tea master," trying a few samples, and walking away not only with tea, but with friendship.
Living in America though, I guess buying tea online is the best option. In regards to shopping online for other things, I find myself shopping more and more online. With the same kinda deals in-store and online, and with free shipping...I'm inclined to be a little lazy about it. I also love stores where you can return stuff you bought online in-store, because I'm always worried about things not fitting or what not.
Since coming home I've been on TeaChat less, ironically because I have more free time at home than at school. Hopefully I'll be on the board more often. Even though I'm still drinking tea, it's not the same without checking on TeaChat every five minutes like I used too

I blended some Sencha Premier and Sencha Karigane this evening, quite a nice pairing. Another blend currently in my cup, Mugi and Genmai.

I do alot of online shopping, it affords me time to do the other things I like to do. That said, I do like to go into specialty shops and quaint stores just to see what I might find. This year however, I mostly gave pottery that I designed and made or TEA and Teaware
