I've never traveled specifically for tea, no. I just order online.

Currently sipping on some roasty TGY and watching the snow fall.

Same here.
However, last summer I visited Huntington garden Tea Room which was just one of the reasons I went there.

Having said that, I would probably go here just for tea: http://www.justaskshirley.com/photos/china/wow.htm

Whenever I have colds, it always seems to be centered in my throat, which gets very sore. I've found that very hot and very strongly brewed black tea seems to soothe it for quite a while (or possibly numb the nerve endings). YMMV, of course, but it might be worth a shot if your throat is sore. Even if it doesn't work, what's not to like about a remedy like that? Win/win!

Also, champagne sipped from a teacup is of course most effective against everything.
Thanks for the tips Trey. Sore throat is what I have, no other symptoms, feels like every time I swallow I am swallowing glass. I will give the strong black a try for sure, I think some kemmum would due very well for that.
Thanks again. :D

Oh, man, I'm dizzy!

I have only ordered online. The local tea/gift/cheese shop doesn't have much to offer but flavored teas.

This morning I had some Keemun Rhapsody at home and here at work I'm having Nilgiri Parkside Oolong.

It would have to be between 10-13 miles for me because I travel to my sister to have some tea with her. Never traveled further than that; usually have my teas delivered.

This morning, brewed up pomegranate vanilla rooibos. Now having Adagio's Alishan to soothe my sore throat.

WOW.  The journey is worth it in this case. Got my belly on a few of those shots, however. Thanks, Jazz. I would do it, but someone else goes in front as a safety check!

Currently, Adagio White Symphony, this stuff puts me in the mood for this trip. It is that inspiring. Really nice white!

A little under 3k miles.

I go to Jamaica each year for the locally grown ingredients to make "roots tea". It's kinda hard to sneak the leaves and roots back onto the plane but it's worth the risk. Certainly a taste, once acquired, that is hard to go without.

BYOB is strictly enforced.

Had an awesome O-Cha sencha teabag while out for late lunch. Ordered the house green, Bigelow, and kept the bag. Used the water for the O-Cha bag. It was worth it even if I never use the Bigelow.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Nice!! The tea house looks too new though. The trail rocks! Where is it exactly? Is that Hua Shan Mountain?

It does look kind of new but it's hard to tell – the image doesn't show the detail. I tried to find where exactly is it but the website doesn't say so I'm not sure.

Drinking White Darjeeling from Adagio – lovely!
