Yamane's blue Hagi pieces are stunning, aren't they... looking into one is like being fired into the depths of the Milky Way. Congratulations on a beautiful chawan!
I voted "3" for cups. One small yunomi at work (well, I have several, but typically only use one on any single day). At least one more yunomi per day at home, plus a chawan for matcha. On those days when I don't have matcha, I'll often use more than one cup or yunomi to enjoy two or more steeped teas. So it all evens out

No, since it is a tapered side chawan, it is a little wider, 5.3". I think this is common for tapers, seems logical or it would taper to a very narrow bottom? Chamekke, is that right?

...however, this one arrived in the same box and is 4.8" exactly!

2 for me, 1 at home, 1 at work. Weekends are a whole different story though. I go through anywhere from 1 to 7 normally on weekends.
Today: TKY english style. Trying to see if this gives me a headache or not.
Nice bowls chip

More applause for the beautiful cups, chip!
also love the leaf and flower cups posted by Herb_Master. I would just have to admire the flower cups- I don't think I would be too successful actually drinking from them.

I can now say with a much higher degree of empathy, "sweet bowl, Brandon!"

I generally only use two different cups a day. One at work and one at home.
Right now, I'm drinking Teavana Rooibos Tropica in my work cup. So delicious!

I'm late to the party today, but... with new swag!
Hmm... I'm probably a 3-4 cupper. I have a short attention span.

See it bigger.

stan, I love the squid! lol.
chip, you are making me jealous. I have two pieces by Seigan, a cup and a very small teabowl- travel size I guess, but I generally use it for sencha. I covet greatly one of the chawan, but have yet to purchase.
sal, the camellias... oh lala! There is a red one blooming outside my bedroom window, but it belongs to the neighbor, so no picking!
oh yes, today's crane was a photographic experiment in split-toning and back focus. Heh. it turned out okay.

It's usually 2 cups for me, I switch cups when I switch teas. Add a cup if I'm doing gong-fu.
